A Case of Comparison
Below is a comparison of the 25-35 and 30-30 cases from SAAMI
Specs, the once fired 30-30 brass we used for this test while it
was still in 30-30 form, the 30-30 brass AFTER it had been run
thru our modified 25-35 Die and then again after we Fire-formed
it. All the cases fire-formed perfectly and if you'll note the
runout of the case neck tightened up to .001, not that it was bad
to begin with but, the neck of this chamber is straight!! The
only thing I didn't like was the lengths of the cases after
forming, seemed strange to have that much variance out of the 50
cases we measured. We'll check these again after we size them for
loading and see what we have. Base and Shoulder Measurements were
consistent thru-out with no more than +-.001 variance.
